Every Gifthub order is hand-finished in our partner studios after you check out — so production happens before shipping, not at the carrier's warehouse. Here's how the full timeline breaks down.
Production
- 2–3 business days for most items.
- Engraved metals and oversized prints may need an extra day.
- Production starts after the first 60 minutes (our edit window — see Cancel or Change Order).

ETAs include production time. The product page quote and the checkout summary are both calibrated against this table.
Tracking
You'll get a tracking number by email as soon as the carrier scans your parcel. Updates can take a day or two to appear — that's normal, and isn't a sign the parcel is lost. If 7 days pass with no scan, open a ticket and we'll investigate with the carrier.
Customs & duties
International parcels are shipped DAP (Delivered At Place), meaning duties and taxes are the buyer's responsibility. The carrier will contact you directly if anything is owed.
When things go sideways
- Tracking shows delivered but no parcel: check with neighbours and your local depot, then open a ticket within 7 days so we can file a carrier claim.
- Damaged on arrival: photograph the packaging and the item before unpacking further; we'll need both.
- Lost in transit: if tracking hasn't updated for 14 business days, we'll either replace the order or refund it.
