This Privacy Policy explains what data Gifthub collects when you visit gifthub.com or place an order, how we use it, and what choices you have. By using the site you agree to the practices below.

Information we collect

Account data: name, email, password hash, and (optional) date of birth when you create an account.
Order data: shipping address, items ordered, payment confirmation token (not the card number), and the personalisation you submitted.
Behavioural data: pages viewed, products clicked, cart events. Used to improve the site and personalise product recommendations.
Cookies: session cookies for cart persistence, plus first-party analytics cookies (see Cookies below).
Communication: copies of support tickets, replies, and the email address attached to each thread.

How we use it

Fulfilling your order (production, shipping, customer service).
Sending transactional emails (order confirmation, shipping updates, return labels).
Sending marketing emails — only if you opted in. You can unsubscribe in one click from any email.
Detecting and preventing fraud, abuse, and chargebacks.
Aggregate analytics to improve the storefront.

Who we share it with

We don't sell your data. We share the minimum necessary with:

Payment processors (Stripe, PayPal) — charge processing.
Shipping carriers (USPS, UPS, DHL, etc.) — address + parcel weight.
Production studios — name, address, and the personalisation you approved.
Email provider — transactional and (with consent) marketing emails.
Analytics — first-party only; we do not run third-party advertising trackers.

We may also disclose data when required by law (subpoena, court order) or to protect against fraud.

Cookies

We use three categories:

Strictly necessary — cart, login session, CSRF tokens. Cannot be turned off.
Analytics — first-party measurement of page views and conversions. Can be turned off in the footer "Cookie preferences" link.
Marketing — we don't currently set marketing cookies.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:

Access the data we hold about you.
Correct inaccurate data.
Delete your account and associated data ("right to be forgotten").
Export your data in a portable format.
Opt out of marketing communications.

Email privacy@gifthub.com or submit a ticket via the Help Center to exercise any of these. We respond within 30 days.

Retention

Order records are kept for 7 years for tax purposes.
Account data is deleted within 30 days of an account deletion request.
Support tickets are kept for 3 years for moderation history.
